Roasted Tomato Chutney

Ingredients

  • Coconut oil – 2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Red Chilly (Dry) – 4
  • Garlic – 4 cloves
  • Ginger – 4 small slices chopped
  • Tomatoes – 3 chopped
  • Salt – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 lemon

Procedure

  • Add oil to pan (medium).
  • Add cumin seeds and sauté till slightly brown
  • Add red chilly, garlic, and ginger and sauté
  • Add tomatoes and salt. Roast and let to cool.
  • Add the mixture to a grinder with lemon juice and grind. Serve with Dosa or sandwich.

  • Take all ingredients in a blender and blend.
